Full disk flats!!!

OK I need to document the circuitous trail I followed over the last couple of weeks, but I think the end result is positive.
I’ll upload later the images obtained which show ( with some care....) the NR can be removed with flats.

Yes, Newton Rings.
I have found some key parameters which impact on the success of applying flats to full disk solar Ha images.
1. The diffusion of the material.
2. The transmission of the material.
3. The spacing of the material to the aperture.
4. The accuracy of the mount tracking
I also found flats worked better when the T2 tilter was removed.
