that is spectacular Martin. Did you use any filter as all here on the ASI2600? great colour and detail in this Galaxy showing.

Thanks for your kind comment
Definitely no filters for imaging galaxies with a OSC camera or DSLR
It plays havoc with processing your colour
I tried imaging NGC 253 last year in Sydney (Bortle 8 ) with the 2600MC using a Duoband filter and ended up with a heavy green bias colour cast which could not be balanced out with red or blue. For Nebula these multiband filters are fantastic but galaxies a different story (for me at least )

Mike,
Thanks for your comments
Appreciate it
The nights are clear at the moment so the Dome is getting a work out
Ticking off all the regular galaxies at the moment

That turned out very nicely. Quite sharp and detailed really. The guiding must have done a good job at nullifying the poor seeing.

Greg,
Thanks
Guiding was good but I did discard a few subs , starlink satellite, brushed the camera cable with my elbow , a couple of small spikes in Ra
Very happy with the set up

Andy,
Thanks
Appreciate it
It’s nice just to close the door for the night instead of tarps , bungee straps , removing cameras , unplugging power and the list goes on .....
cheers

Well done, looks good.
I can imagine how convenient the dome will be, especially when the cooler weather arrives.
