This year I thought I would try and image objects I have never attempted to photograph from my home in suburban Sydney.

This is NGC 4361. A lovely planetary in Corvus.

Nice work on a cool little blighter ...and a refeshing change from all the NGC 3576 and Chicken shots this time of year :lol:

You have got though even faint, the very boxy shape
That comes across in the O111 filter in a 16" scope.
Always a good planetary to go after while viewing in the area of M104 and NGC 4038/4039.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for posting this one Richard. It is always good to see planetary nebula images displayed well with lots of intriguing detail.

I find with my setup, I get reasonable results with compact objects like PNs and galaxies. Here is my attempt at the antennae from the other night.
