Last night I gave the Statue of Liberty Nebula a go. It's about 3 hours 15 of data so not a great deal and I'm having some trouble drawing out detail... so next time we have clear weather in Melbourne (2030 at this rate) I'll add to it.

that is a very nice image Jeff, definitely your best i've seen on here, congrats the quality has come a long way quite quickly. would be great to see in a larger format (flickr/astrobin etc). it is hard to squeeze these images under 200kb.

Thanks Russ. I've found that imaging with a DSLR in the summer is a sure way to introduce thermal noise .. and my skills in PS aren't up to the task of removing it. A cooled camera has made it so much easier.
Having said that, there's more to come on this image once I get some more data (hopefully tonight)
