Hi Has anyone every shorten on of these cable ,I have a 5 mt which is to long now ,or is their someone out their who wants to swap a short one for a long one

Depending on the type of cable you have you could possibly shorten it.
I have cable similar to this one

I cut the RJ45 end to length. From what I remember it’s a 3 wire system into the RJ45. Just strip & lay wires back into RJ45 correctly as per one you removed then crimp

Has worked for me, but if you chose to undertake be 110% sure you have wired RJ45 exactly as other one ( all responsibility falls onto you if you chose to do this )
