Figured I would expand my sights from my previous listing and see what zoom eyepieces may be available.
No 1 on my list is still the Baader Hyperion Mk4 Zoom 8-24mm. But I am happy to entertain others as well if they are comparable in performance.
A Leica is probably going to be out of my price range. but for the right price I might consider it.
Pickup in Brisbane preferred but happy to pay postage for the right eyepiece.

Hi Kristian,
I will have a Televue click stop zoom up for sale hopefully soon 8-24mm. The leica zoom i do have one with the 2 inch adapter. Interested to know what your right price is for it.
Cheers,
Matt

Hey Matt,
My budget is probably around $500, which is why the Baader Mk4 is my most realistic option at this stage.
I saw your Leica listing, I think its a fair price and I could justify the price of the Leica if its focal range was on par to other 8-24mm zoom. Then I could realistically get away without needing to buy any other EPs and it would make financial sense to spend that much on a single zoom EP.
The only other EP I would happily stretch higher than my budget for is a Zeiss, but they are just about impossible to find since being discontinued. I can see your reasoning behind selling the Leica and keeping your Zeiss.

Hi Kristian,
Yes I see. The Leica I used in an SCT, Maksutov and refractor I have. Did enjoy the views. The Zeiss has the edge and a bit more zoom range as well (probably the best there is). The price is even worse for one of these if anyone ever lets one go with the adapter to use in telescopes.
The televue I have is in box and would be prepared to let it go for half your budget at $250 p.p. Happy to send photos.
Regards,
Matt
