After 12 years I'm moving up from FLT132 (soon to be for sale) and have just taken possession of an FLT156. I wasn't sure about the blue accents but now I have seen it in the flesh I quite like it.
It is an impressive piece of glass and I hope to have all the setup completed by the end of the week, weather permitting.
I hope to see first light soon after.
Wow Gary that sure is an impressive looking instrument, I am sure it will give you many years of pleasure.

Thanks Leon.
I am close to retirement so I thought I'd get myself an early retirement present.
The FLT132 has given me years of faithful imaging so yes, I am looking at many years of enjoyment with the new scope.

Hi Gary,
Congratulations on your purchase. It looks like a wonderful scope and very versatile with a native 1200 mm FL and good reducers available if required. I am sure it will give you many years of enjoyment.
I just upgraded to a Esprit 120 from a TV85. The TV 85 lasted me for nearly 15 years but in the end could not cope with the new large chip cameras.
Cheers

Gary, I've long had my eye on a 156mm. A beautiful instrument!
