Long time lurker, but I figured I would create an account now that I finally purchased a scope of my own.

I recently purchased a second hand Celestron C6 XLT on a AVX mount. Havent yet had a chance to use it thanks to the weather, but hoping to have a play soon.

Better than a starter scope. Big enough, compact and light enough for a lifetime instrument. Don't let it go if you can.

Welcome mate, I'm nearby out at Ipswich. Enjoy the gear, I'll be sourcing that scope down the track I think to get some narrower views than my 72ed gives me.
