I agree with Mike there would be a gain there from some sharpening of some sort.

The jet is visible in the top right.

Hi Andy. To be honest I did capture some Ha(no photons were harmed in the process!:lol:) and I didn't really end up with anything extra. On my screen I can see the jet quite easily although I have been staring at it for 3 days now! :D





Hi Mike, thanks for your suggestion. I must admit I'm not keen on sharpening, it can be hard to do right. Having said that, does it look a little better now? :thumbsup:





Hello Greg, nice of you to take a look. I was coming the other way in my spaceship when I took this so I guess that is why it is the wrong way up. For all the earthlings I have now corrected the view as per Starry Night. :rofl:

Hey Bart,

Looks sharper. You could extract a tad more out of it with some contrast enhancement of the main dust lane.

The stars have a lot of chromatic aberration - blue rings, which are not blue stars. Camera Raw or Lightroom chromatic aberration sliders gets rid of it easily. Or do decon on your blue subs to shrink them. Blue subs often have the largest stars.
