Taken last night 16th March... Omega Centauri, single exposure of 30 sec with a Canon Ra camera attached to a 10" Meade LX600 scope (alt az mount). Lot of stars in that globular. Thanks for viewing.

I like Omega Centauri due to it's sheer volume of stars, did yiu have a reduced on? I thought the Meade had a long focal length.

Thanks Karl - no reducer - scope is f/8. It is a great object.

Still a great shot for 30 seconds, you'll have to start getting more exposures now to bring out some depth in your images.

amazing the detail that can be had with a single frame on brighter object like Glob clusters... as Karl says, more exposures will bring out even more

The first time I saw a cluster in an eyepiece it blew my mind.
