Hi All,

First time shooting on this target and first time shooting on my new SW ED80 on the nEQ6-Pro mount. Did this in SE Vic 15/03/21 at 2:30am

Capture details:
Date: 15/03/21
Location: Officer, Vic.
nEQ6-Pro
Skywatcher ED80 BK
Nikon D80
Guided: ASI462 & SVBony 60mm scope
ISO: 1600
Lights: 30 @ 300sec (2hrs:30min)
Darks: 30 @ 300sec
Flats: none Tried to add but imaged is blurry on the top half of view after DSS :shrug:
Bias: 30
Post work: DSS & PS

Your D80 picked up a lot more HA than I thought it would :)
good stuff. You need a field flattener! I have that same scope and the Orion flattener works fine on it.

edit: just noticed in your sig that your DSLR is modded... that explains it :D

Hey Adam,

Thanks for the feedback. My D80 is not modded... just old (2007) ;)

And yes.. a flattener is on the list

Same image just with the introduction of flats.

I personally think this shot is better. Still out of focus a little. Can’t wait for my Mask to come this week.

much better, more neutral background. great amount of detail too esp for a non mod DSLR. well done wayne!
