The nice thing about a 9000 x 6000 pixel image is there are often interesting sections of the data that invite closer scrutiny.
Appalling imaging weather can also be a good motivator to mine old data..
I hope you enjoy the up-close-and-personal view here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery519.html)
Very nice Peter. Cropped in like that in Landscape it definitely has a mountains or even wave feel to it. Ok then .... The Alps in the Sky:thumbsup:

that's lovely. Like a web made by a drunk, but artistic and psychedelic spider.
Definitely a target on my hit-list.

That one keeps on giving. There is another level of details in a thinner area not often seen within the larger fronts mostly in the Oiii channel but also visible in some of the Ha. Quite a treat.

Thanks for the vote of confidence gentlemen. The blue areas remind me of cirrus veils that would sometimes drape on the top of actively growing storms in the tropics as I few past them in my previous life.
They were quite a sight! I suspect the process here is not too dis-similar.

Nice Peter, it appears that you're channelling Jackson Pollock with that one! :D

Ta Andy.
Pollock had indeed crossed my mind when looking for interesting structures in the nebula.
Interestingly, there have been suggestions Pollock was a "fractal nature" artist.
I frankly never saw the attraction of his works....nature does a much better job IMHO :)
Thanks Marcus...I thought you'd like the grand scale on this one ;)

Plenty of detail, bears more than a casual glance

Thanks...and, no, we do not fancy doing a plate solve. But you are most welcome to do so :)
