I have for sale my A-P1200GTO mount and A-P Portable pier

Included:

AP 1200GTO Mount RA, DEC assemblies
Counterweight Bar 1.875” and end cap
Keypad hand held computer
CP4 servo controller (Current model)
CP3 Servo Controller (original, upgraded to V2Chip, keep as Spare)
Cables - Servo Motors, Power, Serial.
Losmandy straight through polar scope.
Hi/Lo Latitude wedge

10” x 48” A-P Portable pier (Post, legs, Struts and Base)
10” Pier accessory trays and brackets (eyepiece tray x1, accessory tray x2)
Adapters Pier to Mount

Note NOT included: saddle plate, counterweights.

This mount was used briefly in portable mode before installation in my observatory. Two years ago I relocated and the mount has been in storage since. It is in excellent order.
The mount separates into smaller parts for transport, but I no longer consider it portable!

The amount is still full supported by Astro-Physics and enjoys all their current software improvements. Visit Astro-Physics (www.astro-physics.com) if you are not familiar with their products.

Attached below original product sheet (Links may be outdated) go to:

https://www.astro-physics.info/index.htm?tech_support/tech_support_legacy

refer to 1200 mount after April 2011 (Most Recent Version)

Price: $13500 ONO (PayPal, Bank Transfer, Cash)

I will pack and ship (your cost) but would prefer person - person hand over so will deliver/meet half way if you wish (no charge!)

I have included some photos which were taken during portable setups. After a short time the mount was installed permanently in my domed observatory where it effortlessly carried my 7”f9 refractor (sometimes with 7” Questar piggybacked) and separately, a 12” RHA.

I would like to create a bit more interest in this excellent mount. If it helps I will include a 16" 'D' saddle plate

This is a very stable accessory.

It has been a while and I have had no offers. Some kind members have privately advised that my price is too high. This is the first time I have tried to sell a scope item, instead of collecting for the last 50 years+.

What I am offering cost US $11393 in 2011 = approx Au$15190 + GST, = Au$16709 + Freight (approx Au$1000) = Total Au$17700

Would anyone like to make an Offer?
