Here are a couple Ive been working on
The Horse Head and M81 and 82 surrounded by Integrated Flux Nebula in Ursa Major.

The HH imaged with The 12.5in RCOS and FLI 16803. Another one of my favourite scopes...36x 600 in Luminance and 12x 900s in each RGB total 15hrs. The data suffered with high cloud ...The weather in Spain hasn't been the best this season.

Integrated Flux Nebula and a couple of old friends
Can't really say this is a shot of M81 and M82, although they are both smack in the centre of the field! Ultra wide field Integrated Flux Nebula around M81 and M82. Imaged from Spain with the 105 sigma Lens and the ZWO2600 OSC, 5hrs total exposure, 300s subs.

You may have had high cloud Pete, but the HH result is superb.

It shows a great 3D quality and depth rarely captured.

Might have to give RoboScope a go one day.

Good effort, especially with the scope rebuild.

Thank you....the Optics are very special with the Zerodur optional upgrade....I

Here are a couple of pics from when I took off the coatings then the new ones coming out of the machine. The scope on the test mount in my garden before going to Spain.

Two great shots Pete

Getting all the galactic cirrus, in an M81/82 shot, is now a must do project for every northern hemisphere imager I recon

How did you go from an OOUK 8" F3.8, in a backyard obso in western UK...to a million different telescopes under dark skies in Spain :eyepop: mamma Mia!

Thank you Andy....the IFN is a bit noisy but I did push it to within an inch of death TBF

My skies from my back garden are about as dark as they are in Spain.....Its the cloud that's the problem.....desperate weather is enough to motivate any astronomer.

That is an outstanding Horsehead. A really nice job of that.

The lens image is also very interesting. I am partial to some lens imaging at times. They bring a different look to the usual.

That HH shot certainly packs a punch. Terrific details and great colors.
The galaxy shot with the IFN is really cool too. I realised I had seen close ups of the pair in the highres but never seen them in context in the widefield before. Top shot.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Greg

yes this is a close up of these pair imaged a while back with my AG12, the 'normal' of FOV more often seen

I like that wide field with the IFN and the galaxies. So much nebulosity in that region.

The Horse Head image is well executed, always nice to see images of it.

I adore that widefield shot of M81 and M82!! Just brilliant.
