Does anybody knows what could caused this problem?
Sometimes printing is successful (well, in recent past this was always the case). There is no error message...
High voltage module or laser perhaps?
How to dismantle this printer to gain access to those modules?
Thanks in advance!

If you are using Windows and it updated the printer driver automatically it may be causing the problem. Have a look in your recent updates list. If yes then uninstall the update or roll back to the previous driver version.
My old HP laser printer/scanner has a similar problem. Works fine unless I allow Windows to update the driver which I've now prevented from automatically occurring. An incorrect driver can cause all sorts of print problems.

Thanks astro744 for your reply :-)
However, I am pretty sure it is h/w problem, sometimes when it prints, there are smudges and parts of page are missing, like the toner is not here sometimes... that is why I suspect something is loose or intermittent inside.

Hi Bojan,
Are you sure you don’t have a simple toner cartridge problem?
Take it out and give it a shake and if that helps , then perhaps it is connected with the cartridge or the cartridge chip. Is the drum built into the cartridge like the HP?

Hi Bojan
It could also be a faulty fuse roller / assembly. A possible sign might be ... if you look inside the printer and there is toner everywhere.. except on the paper or it easily comes off the paper.

There are 4 toner cartridges (it's colour printer), and no printout.. so it is something like JA is mentioning...

After shaking the toner cartridge left/right it printed the test page.. so I thought "Aha!" and replaced it with new one.
But no joy, again the result is the blank page, most of the time.
Something is intermittent inside.. or mostly disconnected. High voltage? Ground?
Service manual is not very helpful, just saying "replace the relevant module", and it doesn't even show how to dismantle the darn thing.

Well, today I may have pin-pointed the cause of the problem...
When I move the flat cable that connects laser unit and main board near the connector on the main board, printer prints one or two pages OK.
So most likely the cable (it was bent under sharp angle..) or the connector is faulty/intermittent.

Hi Bojun
Depending on just where the problem is, perhaps conductive paint or adhesive will help.

I tend to believe the problem is on processor board.. after removing it (inspection under microscope sowed nothing) and putting it back it behaved strangely (never heard before buzzing from speaker) and it came back to it's senses after a prolonged time, I already thought I killed it)
When I fiddle with flat cable, I can photocopy only one page, but I can't print from comp.. ??
This looks like some input is floating due to broken track or wire.. and by manipulating the cable I charge a relevant control gate so something is enabled for a while (this is my theory).

Can you obtain a replacement flat cable?

OK, reviving the old thread.. after a year...
I sorted buzzing (bad caps in PS module, repaired).
I have new toner cartridges, new Laser module, new flat cable, new processor board.. and still the same problem (most of the time).
The only thing left to replace or repair is high voltage unit, or some ground contact or similar..
I suppose there are no experiences with this or similar problem solution and Samsung printer in the meantime?

I had a similar problem some years ago in trying to print an Excel spreadsheet. It turned out that the author of the document had a number of blank columns in the document which weren't obvious, and these were throwing the printing off badly.
It may or may not help, but checking the format of the document may go towards solving the issue. Just a thought.

Nope, this is not doc formatting problem.. the same is happening when using this printer as photocopier.
It is a hardware problem, cause of which I haven't found (yet..).

Is that for single sided printing or duplex? or both?
Tried a USB key direct with a *. PS/PDF/TXT file for testing a few print types?
Success rate for printing any different when the printer is warm or cold or no difference?
