Not much on the Sun at the moment - just a few small prominences around the limb. This single exposure image was taken thru a Lunt 100 Ha scope with a Canon 550d camera. Shows the NE limb. Thanks for viewing.

Happy to see that someone is getting some sunshine, thanks for posting, a nice image regardless.
Been hard to be enthusiastic lately with a lack of activity on Sol and the lack of clear sunny skies around here lately doesn't help either.
It's great to see a fresh solar image John. Although the Sun is quiet the prom features are still interesting to view. Well done.
Is your Canon a standard setup or modded?

Hi Gerard, Camera is a standard one, no mods. I do have a modded camera but don't use it on the sun. Cheers, JW.

Is it possible to take photos like that on a skywatcher adventurer star tracker?

Mark,
You don't need to track the Sun - my image was taken with Lunt 100 mm solar telescope on an alt az mount with camera set at 1/80 x 800 iso sec. But you do need a proper solar (Ha) telescope.
Cheers, John W.
