Weather here in Melbourne has been shocking but managed to sneak in a session a few nights ago. Decided to frame a part of Carina and process in SHO in Pixinsight. SW Esprit 100 + ZWO 1600mm pro. Very nice Jim. The weather down here has been terrible for imaging but when the clouds finally clear, this region is on my to-do list.
Cheers

Hi Jim
Welcome to the forum!
A great image with good detail and range of colour.
To make your image larger for IIS, you can take advantage of the 'auto resizing' function. It will accept up to about 1Mbyte and down size for you.
Lets all look forward to clear skies...

Welcome to the forum, going by the image it's not your first rodeo.
How do you like the espirit 100 paired with the 1600mm?
I find saving an edited 1600mm stack at native resolution, in the jpeg format, quality around 95, will yield about a 2mb image that the forum will accept.

Much better as I was using the 183mm pro previously which was also good but the image scale was 0.89 from memory which was ok for smaller targets but at the same time more challenging with guiding.

welcom Jim, I do love the colour palette you have here... this sort of thing keeps drawing me to the dark side of mono...but I just bough a new one shot colour and will stick it out with L extreme till I've sqeezed as much juice as I can ;-)

Decided to image this target again but this time with my 183mm pro which has a much smaller image scale at 0.89 vs 1.43.
Definitely no microlensing issues even with the O3 filter, this was taken with gain at 53 and approximately 40 subs each at 240sec for Ha and O3 and 300sec for S2.
Thinking I'll keep this camera on for the time being and upgrade to the 2600 or 268 mono down the track.

Those blues Jim are great, I do like a bit of blue in images.

Thanks Karl, took a bit of tweaking to get the teal of the keyhole nebula to my liking without turning the remaining nebulosity purple.

Looking good Jim, the link is broken to the first version, but the second is very respectable indeed, well done! :)
