Excellent. A chair for practicing guitar and observing. It even folds quite flat for transport.

So I got the chair. The warehouse is only 400m from my house. So I collected it in person.


Got to take back though. I opened its box in the hope of assembling it and inside the box was 3 seats but no frame or legs to attach to it HAHA.

Make one! There are plenty of plans online for observing chairs, in fact i built one some years ago, it featured an adjustable height seat.

Alright - after returning it and having a good laugh with the staff, I've now tested it and I can wholeheartedly recommend this as an observing chair. It compacts down quite small and the relatively flat. It will be very easy for taking in a small car for some dark sky time. Its comfortable and can the height adjustment is good. Also the foot rest is very adjustable if you wish to use it.


Also - very good guitar playing stool!
