I have sent in my 2nd 'You Tube' video. The 1st one was a simple animation of Harry opening our small Observatory.

But this time I went all out and compiled the best of my Astro photos so far and set them to music. 10 hours of work later, and I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks guys.

I'm not sure how it looks to me any more, as I saw it too many times while making it. I'm kind of over-exposed to the images at the moment and I've got the song stuck in my head!!! I do remember that I was very happy with it at 3am this morning

One thing that I did forget to put at the end was:

This Video is made with thanks to 'Albert van Donkelaar'

If it wasn't for all the help Bert has given me over the last year and a half, none of these pics would have been possible!

Great presentation and time sequence Ken. A lot of thought must have gone into the order of the images. What is the recipe to put a series of images on a video on youtube?

Bert,

The sequence is by starting at our closest neighbour the Moon, then some Planets (I don't have any good planet images), then travelling out further to the DSO's, so it's roughly by order of distance, even though some are out of order.

Then at the end with the sunrise, I show the sunspots.

To get still images into a video I just uploaded then into Windows Moviemaker
as frames and extended their time on screen. The tricky bit was getting them to match the music!

Good one Ken!

Timing images to appear with music can be tricky if not down right frustrating! You've done very well!

Terrific, Ken. I enjoyed watching. Thanks for your time and trouble and allowing us to access your 'baby'.
