Hi everyone,

Ive designed a bit of plastic that has the requisite threads and spacing to screw onto a losmandy dovetail bar and also mount a finderscope dovetail onto itself. Im not sure if theres a legit way to mount these two together but my design seems to work pretty well. Is anyone interested in purchasing this/perhaps any other future designs similar to this to mate two different bits of equipment together? We all know astrophotography has some pretty insanely priced things for essentially just bits of metal so if this seems like a good idea let me know!

Ive only attached a photo of the 3D modeled file but if this post garners any interest ill upload some more. Pricing will just be a few dollars plus postage/free pickup.

Cheers!

Hi Pali
Would you be able to design the Takahashi 7x50 Finder Bracket for CCA-250.
Ordering from Tak will be long wait.

cheers
Tom

im not sure about the legality of printing a straight replica, but if you provide me with the thread sizes and internal diameter youd need, im sure i could mock something up that would serve a similar puropose!

Post some close up pics of your work. Just an idea...

Hi Pali, would you be able to print an adapter for me?

I need a pier adapter plate for my EQ6 and have found a design on Thingiverse that includes the necessary files for download.
Link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3063800

Happy to pay your costs plus postage.

Thanks, Chris

NOTE: Please ignore my request, I've decided to go down the DIY path, thanks anyway!

Hi Pali,

These are the RA & Dec clutch levers for my Celestron CG5. Wondering if you might be able to print 2 of these in a color other than black? Note that the inside teeth pattern is not critical as they fit over a brass square, nor is the elongated cut out in image 3. But what would be handy would be to make the outer circular shape about 2-3mm less in diameter as the Dec lever rubs against the plastic motor housing as you can see in image 1.

What would you need to copy, perhaps I could send you one as they are the same as the levers on the tripod legs.
I wonder also if you could do the same for EQ8 Pro RA& Dec clutch levers?

Thanks
Peter
