TV85 + ASI 2600 MC, Guiding with ASI 120 MM Mini
0.8 Flattener/reducer, no filters

Processed in PixInsight, cropped for display purpose

Taken from Ivanhoe NSW, 50% moon.

Nice work Paul.

Researching Omega Centauri makes for interesting reading.

A black hole might be in the centre, so it could have been a galaxy
in its own right...before it met the Milky Way.

Thanks Peter. Yes, it's definitely the best/largest globular to image. I only took 12 minutes, and am not sure if its worth taking more as there are no real details to draw out? Just a bunch of stars.



Thanks Martin. I am quite happy with this effort as i like seeing the blue and yellow stars. I could have added a bit more saturation but not sure.

It's been good using the new camera out west. I have two final images to process. An hour each of M45 and Eta Carina.
