Looking for level of interest in a couple of copies of Vehrenberg's Photographic Atlas Stellarum. As published in 1970, printed on high quality archival paper, each chart ( approx 330 x 330mm) covers 10 x 10 deg down to 14 mag.

I have two copies:
The complete full sky cover, some 450 charts North and South, with original booklet, index, overlays, in original 4 big red printed plastic binders, approx 400mm x 400mm x 75mm.
In excellent condition. Weighs 20Kg

Also have a Southern Set -20 to -90 in 2 volumes, booklet, overlays etc, once again in excellent condition. About 10kg.

Any interest out there? These are definately rare collectables, and would be a great addition to any observatory.

A couple of photographs to show the pristine condition of the Atlases.
For those who may remember him, they belonged to Ernie Charles of the ASV.
Each chart has just been re-inspected to ensure it's there (!!), clean and un-marked.
A real gem and fantastic reference source.

Just to bump the ad. Have received a couple of PM's from interested buyers,
I'd like to ship within Oz and not lose this set to O'seas.
A tremendous buy; only comes up very rarely.

Sale pending on the Full set, but the southern is still available.
Asking price is only $ 175 plus postage.
This is cheaper than photocopies! works out about 80c per sheet, for a highly detailed, 14 magnitude limit photographic atlas complete with two original customer heavy duty folders, reference handbook and precision overlays.
PM me for further details.......

Hello,

I am replying to your add about the sale of the above atlas. If you still have North I would like to purchase it. I am also considering the southern skies as well.

Please let me know because I have been looking for this atlas for quite awhile. I have the Falkauer Atlas with overlays in excelent condition, but I need the accuracy of Stellarum.

Best regards,

Terry A. Davis Sr.
