a couple of weeks ago. Haven't really had a chance to use it cause it's been cloudy and windy ever since. But anyway, I finally got out the other night just to have a go at polar aligning with it, couldn't image cause it was still blowing 35kmh+.
But it's the first time I've been able to use a polar scope and after doing a rough polar align, by standing on my left foot, tongue out and hand outstretched in a line from ACrux through GMusca :screwy: I looked in the polar scope and lo and behold I could identify the Sigma Octantis group:eyepop:
First time I've ever seen it so I was pretty impressed with myself. Fiddled with the mount a bit and got the stars lined up with the pattern in the reticle, stood up to do a  and kicked a tripod leg
Now to learn the ins and outs of the Star Adventurer.
cheers
