Wonderful image. The stars really punch as a background to the blue of the cloud. The shortest FL I have is my Baader Vario guidescope, 60mm, F4 at 250 mm. I am tempted to try with that.

the LMC, and also the SMC and 47 Tuc in the same image.

Do you know if Yongnuo is related to Samyang?

Hi Jahnpahwa, being as Yongnuo lenses are as cheap as chips, I doubt that they have a connection with Samyang.

On another note , my son in law may get into wide field AP later on as he has a Canon EOS R and a stash of lens’ ( he’s a landscape photographer)
Wide field is out of my league, so do you think the Skywatcher Star Adventurer or the Iopton Sky Tracker with tripod etc... would be a good entry level mount to get started with some wide field AP ?

Hi Martin, thanks for the comment. The Star Adventurer would do just fine,
and would allow some unguided deep sky work if well polar aligned.
SW's five year warranty does it for me, not that I've ever had to take
advantage of it. I did have two condensers blow on my HEQ5 some years
ago, but replaced them myself, total cost $1.50.
