Anyone else in Melbourne seeing a Halo Ring around the Moon tonight?

Lucky...I'm in regional NSW - all I got was scattered cloud across the entire sky.

Yes ...I could see it ....the Moon was directly over my house.

I was thinking of doing some scope time and went out to view the sky and saw it.

No scope time tho....' Moon ' washed out ' most of the rest of the viewing heavens.

What causes that to happen?
