I just noticed that Andrews has dropped the price on the Skywatcher ED150 from $2999 to $2199, which I believe is because of the Skywatcher Black Friday Sale promotion run by importer TASCO. Astro Anarchy in Brisbane has had the ED150 at $2195, with free shipping for at least the last week. Free shipping is significant.
There are also significant reductions on the ED150DX (Deluxe version with the Esprit 3" focuser), which had RRP well above $3500, and is now well below $3k.
Other Skywatcher specials maybe available under this sale.

Ted's have them at 10% off plus a cash redemption deal which sees this camera with a kit lens down from $1700 to just under $1300 or $1125 body only if that's of any help

So nothing relevant to us, I though it may relate to some Australian historical event. Another Hallmark Holiday as it were. :)

Bintel are doing decent discounts on some of the ZWO cameras. I managed to snag an ASI533MC Pro for just $1299

Thanks Greg!
Sadly, on doing a bit more homework, the X-T30 can't be controlled by computer...that's reserved for the single digit series only

Just more American marketeering...just like how Christmas has become.

What about the smartphone app that can control say an XT2?
The XT2 had a great intervalometer and you could have exposures in steps up to 15 minutes.
Also you probably can have the camera transfer the image to your smartphone or laptop via bluetooth. So you could use that for focusing along with magnified view. Is that enough control?
See under connectivity in this link:

I am not 100% sure of the XT30 but the XT series seem to have some star eater type filtering going on. The X100 does not but that's Bayer filter camera. I can find the thread about this where an owner of an XT4 and a X100 did some testing.
The 26mp sensor though is almost for sure the same sensor plus the Xtrans colour array that is used in the ZWO ASI2600MC cameras that owners are so happy with.
The X100 though seems a good camera for nightscapes, see this:

I think an X100 is pretty cheap.
