Mars is totally messed up. Same Mars time, dust everywhere. I had the frames overlayed and it's obvious that the dust is all over this side.
10" at F16, SV305.

Also a Mars rotation from last night. Astrobin ---> https://astrob.in/kst42v/0/

Nice comparison and clearly seen from your last take Kev.

By the way it was a howler here last night with wind gusts peaking -had the gum trees rocking and rolling and the chainsaws were heard this morning in its aftermath.

Yeah saw many mamatus cloud formation photos Down in the southern states. It's quiet peaceful here at the moment.

Kev.
Good catch of the dust storm outbreak, also saw them on C.N. I guess we are lucky that the storms have come after opposition and that the region happens to be facing us this week so we get a good view of their development.

Imaged Mars on Sat. night but only with my 6" newt so not as good a resolution as your images.

excellent work Kev, especially the astrobin link that's awesome - more rotation than i would have anticipated.

and yes nice that the dust storms didn't wreck opposition like it did in 2018 :( ... yes i'm still scarred

Nice pics. Amazing how quickly this storm developed and how big it's become. Yes lucky it wasn't dusty for opposition.

Thanks Jeff. It's starting to rotate out of view now, but looks like only a matter of time before it engulfs the entire planet.

Yeah that sucked! 2018 was a right off. Mars is so unpredictable. You prepare for extra close approach only to be dusted out.

Yes, it was very quick!

Thanks Marc.
