I have not done much astronomy of late.. and only dabble in astrophotography.. but I found some time this afternoon and took this image which (as a dabbler) I am fairly pleased with! AR2781.

Certainly have every right to be pleased with the image. What filter did you use for the capture, the orange colour may be a bit strong.

Nothing special a 1000 Oaks filter on my ED81SII into a Nikon DSLR.
The strong colour came out as I was trying to increase contrast (just in Photos on the Mac).
