This solar filter was purchased for a Meade 8" SCT and is in excellent condition.
Color band - blue means it is "Class A": These filters are made with premium quality polished glass and multi-alloy coating. An additional steel alloy added to the coating process makes the Class A filters extremely scratch and fade resistant. Excellent for visual and photographic use. Light transmission is 1 /1,000th of 1 Neutral density - 5.
There is an internal rubber strip which has an ID of 232-233mm
