Wispy!
I notice you've shot this at f5 on the FSQ - I'm assuming that means native focal length without a reducer / flattener. Out of curiosity, how flat was the field before you removed the stars? We have a 16803 and FSQ in the school observatory, but haven't tried that combination together so far.
Thanks,

Wow! That orientation reveals a huge fierce dragon with glowing eyes, the head being top right of the Tarantula.
Thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening.

Ta Marc. Very kind
Galileo! Galileo!
Thanks...OMG! it does indeed look like smoke
Ta Dave...not sure what you mean by how flat was it? I really don't know how flat the native FSQ106 field is...but as a guess...Flatter than a Witches' knockers I suspect :)

Was really just wanting to know if there was an distortion of the stars in the corners, or were they pinpoint?

Pinpoint would be an accurate description...but you need to make sure the sensor is absolutely orthogonal.
I have one of these (https://www.gerdneumann.net/english/astrofotografie-parts-astrophotography/ctu-camera-tilting-unit.html) to make that so.

Ta . Funky eh? The Pixinsight version of Starnet seems more effective than the batch version....but that might not be the reality...just be more of a "vibe" :)
Thanks. Baywatching the screen may work better. ;)
