Hi all,

I got a clear spell a couple of weeks ago and did a few nights of imaging using the ASI2600.

As i suggested in a previous post i wanted to try the gain of 0 and offset 50 which i did for these sessions.
I started with the NGC1269. I was browsing stellarium and came across this interesting ring galaxy.
No real colour here to necessarily test the settings but i thought this was an interesting subject.

17 x 420s exposures
10 x darks
gain 0
offset 50
temp -10
imaged using NINA
processed using APP
Orion EON 115mm

whoa! unusual and really beautiful target there.

I'm not fibbing when i say that I had a moment when i opened it on astrobin... it seems to just hang in that field and its light is really something else. I think thats just a fantastic job... a thousand high fives!

Grab yourself a tart from summer kitchen to celebrate :thumbsup::thumbsup::thum bsup:

Great image and choice of target. Don’t see that one here much.
Crisp and clear.
APP and Nina are also great choices .
