To keep the M20 theme going from Peters amazing starless version , here’s a reprocess of my M20 captured in mid August with the ZWOASI2600 camera under Sydney Bortle 8 but this time without a Duoband filter under new moon
6”f6 Bintel Newt on an EQ6-R mount
1.5 hrs integration with 60 sec subs
Darks no flats
Startools V1.6 Linear OSC data set
This time I placed a bit more emphasis on the colour in the star field
Increased deconvolution
A bit more wavelet sharpening
A bit more colour bias in the nebula
Noise reduction grain up to 5.5 pixels
Image cropped at 10% from original
Comments Welcome !
Anyone have any recent M20 images from this year to post ?

The stars are like planets.
Incredible detail of the Triffid.
Must be a lot of long subs.

This was my first try at M20 with SW ED80 and Canon EOS M6 M2 on SW HEQ5 Pro

Well done for your first attempt !!!
Great first image
Good detail but stars in off axis region look a bit cone shaped ?
A bit more detail on your capture would help others to comment and maybe offer suggestions or advice
Single Sub exposure Or multiple Subs ? Exposure time ?
What ISO ?
Capture software or just straight off the camera ?
What stacking software if multiple subs ?
Processing software?
Guided or unguided exposures ?
Cheers

Thanks
Looks like with that amount of data you should be able to extract more detail in the stretch ?
What did the histogram look like in a sub ? A fare way off the left side ?
For 60 sec subs your polar alignment is pretty good at that image scale
I suppose next challenge for you a bit late on is Autoguiding. Then you can push beyond 60 or 80 sec especially being under Bortle 3 nice dark skies
Cheers
