The 1st one is quite refreshing, dont see them types often, a striking specimen :thumbsup:

Thanks Raymo. With 87 views I know it is not being ignored, even if the poor images are from a phone, but I appreciate the thought.
My fellow walkers knew the name of that one . A Mountain Devil I think , Lambertia Formosa

Thanks Bob . It is a striking flower. They say those are winter flowers but that was spring or summer.

I remember seeing a bunch of them up in the Blueys one Easter. They really stand out with their vibrancy!
Where were these, Ray? Up on the escarpment near your place?

Yes JP.. Over the escarpment in the Dharawal National park near OHares creek and Jinnga pools.
A nice collection. The Mountain Devil will always remind me of my first visits to Fitzroy Falls & Morton NP many years ago. Great memories
