Heads up... lots of nice proms all over the place.

Seeing was quite poor with cloud rolling through. AR2776 is in single stack, when went to use double stack was clouding in heavier, maybe tomorrow.

Lunt 60mm SS/PT & Powermate 2.5X & ZWO 174MM.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice set of images Peter, I'm glad someone got to see some sunshine today, nothing but grey skies down here. Was aware of the proms from checking SOHO and GONG this morning but the clouds never parted unfortunately.

Impressive proms Peter. Let's hope this is the beginning of a more active Sun.
Thanks for posting your images.

Thank you all for your comments and encouragement. Certainly testing to get Solar sometime so I stand and applaud all you Solar imagers... 2 hours this morning to get one image, technical, then usb, then weather and then work (that pays for all this stuff) all lining up today. But hey it's great as I learnt a lot this morning.

Peter,
Again, well done mate!

There were certainly a few "interest" proms which were still visible today.
AR2776 is turning into a very symmetrical sunspot - obvious umbra and penumbra in White light. (Probably be good for Zeeman magnetic measurements if I can get the SHG to perform)

I'm sure you'll have success with the DS set-up.
