This was a struggle with my 8 inch under pretty poor seeing, actually I was surprised I got as much detail as I did. 8 inch f5 Newtonian using a 5x Powermate and ASI120MMs on a Eq5 mount. Best 10% of about 8000 frames of each colour at around 60fps.
Added a shot from the same night using my Canon 550d. Same scope and 5X Powermate, 10% of 18000 frames at 50fps, 200 iso. Actually turned out better than the ASI120MM, which was unusual.

Thanks Russell, the detail I got from the average to say the least, video capture surprised me.
Thanks Pete, an eight inch is a good all rounder. Reasonable aperture and focal length for planetary and deep sky.
Glad you liked it Dennis, thanks for the compliment.
Thanks Anthony, yes, this wasn't heading to the trash can.
Thanks Peter, I wonder how it would have turned out like using a 3X Barlow? ;)
