Why do these things have to be shaped like suppositories or bluetooth speakers and not, say, lunar landers or whatever. That would make them way more attractive to their target groups. A wasted Opportunity (there's another one) I reckon.

I reckon it might be for backpack-ability. Smooth edges are the go there, and a lunar lander would be a bit of a pain in the back :)
