Hi all!
My first image posted here and fairly new to this game.
Taken over 3 nights from Bortle 8 backyard in Brisbane.
Just getting used to my new camera after changing from DSLR to an ASI183MC-Pro.
10x 1200s Gain 23
5x 600s Gain 23
Stacked with calibration frames and semi-processed in Astro Pixel Processor.
Final tweaks in PS.
Can never get the processing to be where I want it to be but having a lot of fun learning.

A great result Daniel.

I don't offer criticism, only my own experience, since I am learning as well.

Play with the processing, and you will end up with many different results.

And then, compare your results to what others have achieved.

Post your new achievements, and all of us can watch and learn.

The main thing is to enjoy the journey, it never ends :-)

Trying to determine the best workflow for processing, I used to follow Trevor from Astro Backyards DSLR tutorial, then I bought Charles Brackens Deep imaging primer, but still haven’t found what works best for me.
I have also found that sometimes I sit and process for a couple of hours and come up with what I think looks amazing, only to look at it with fresh eyes the next morning and think “ugh what was I thinking” haha. But, yes it’s a fun journey, and I am sure with a little (or a lot) of perseverance the results will improve eventually.
