If you don't know, there's a YouTube channel, called DUST (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7sDT8jZ76VLV1u__krUutA), full of sci-fi short films from around the world. Some are funny, some serious, some thought-provoking. New ones are regularly added. There's wide variety to watch and some feature names or faces that you'll know (but most you won't).

The Black Hole (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijEfmJLV5PE) is short, relatable and funny (IMHO) and well worth the 3 minutes it'll take to watch it.

If you enjoy that, give some of the others a go.

Thank you for the link, didn't know about Dust but do now. Have some serious watching to do now after the teaser of Black Hole.

I've been regularly enjoying some of the sci-fi short films on the DUST YouTube channel. Not all are great, but some are very good - funny, interesting, thought-inspring, etc.

Some are uplifting, offering a glimpse of what could be achieved to bring solace in terrible circumstances:
