This is the thread to use if you have any comments about any of the submissions in this month's Photo Challenge "A geological formation"
Or, if you have any additional shots that you have taken on the subject, you can also share them here, on this thread.
Thanks

Some folded rock at Arthur Pieman conservation area in NW Tas. There are lots of good rocks there.

Both great photos Thomas.
Tough decision as to which one to submit as your entry this month.
Do you do photography professionally?
It would be interesting to include details of your process. (camera, F stop, shutter speed, frames, ASA/ISO , how processed etc.)
Good Luck
Cheers
Just at Sunset I placed the Camera on a post, marked the spot with a marker, shot the picture (automatic settings) Nice lighting on the mountain.
Returned next morning just before Sunrise, - the exposure making the monument almost a dark silhouette.
Then at home, with PhotoShop - simply superimposed the two. Doing the Silhouette picture first - with the early sun just rising. Then the evening shot ---- cropped just on the outside of the monument, and placed over the silhouette. Sounds more complicated, than it was.
Thanks for the interest..

This is a second pic of the Pinnacles in WA - a limestone formation in the yellow desert sand north of Perth. I couldn't decide which one to submit - a closer up pic was submitted - this one shows a wider area. Cheers, John W
