The Moon seems to have pushed everyone underground, so

why not make the most of it!

Post your Moon results in this thread, so we can compare.

Doesn't matter if the data is from the past.

I have set the bar low, to start with :-)

First go at stacking the moon...

10% of 350 frames.
Stacked and sharpened in AS3, file size reduced in PS express. No other processing.

Bit late to the party and hopefully revive a bit of interest in lunar imaging and observing as I still get enjoyment from it on less than dark sky nights. Thought I'd post some of mine from the past few years. Good suggestion Peter, hope others will keep the ball rolling.

Love the Plato shot Jeff.
With the rim peak shadows looks amazing.
Not sure of the specs of this shot but it was from 30august2020 I believe.

Two views of Copernicus from August I think. I too, enjoy exploring the Moon, both visually and imaging.

Moon and clouds. It's an old one (I sound like Raymo) but I guess it fits in here. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=178721

Here's something I shot May this year.

Sony A7RIV with 100-400 lens at 400mm and 2x teleconverter, processed in LR, stacked in PIPP, and some more post processing in PS.

This was shot on a tripod. :)

Now that is extraordinary Raphael.

It is not often you see such an image.

Well done!

Thank you Peter! :) tried to experiment with the colours on the raw files, pushing them further revealed the blue and orange hues.
