Hi everyone,
I purchased a SVBONY 2inch CLS Deep Sky Filter for Light Pollution for my William Optics 73inch and was wondering whether this was a good brand? It is much cheaper then the Optolong L-eNhance but I guess I wanted to check and see if anyone has ever used it and whether it is worth it.
Thanks
Sara

I have a clip in SVBONY CLS filter for my Canon, and it works well. I have used it on a 900mm refractor as well as a WO GT81. You'll be happy with it I reckon.

I tried it but I wasn't too impressed, their uhc filter seems to be slightly better for visual at least, but that might be all in my head.

Good to know, I also purchased one as well, the specs seem to be identical to others but it is difficult to measure if it is accurate. Just waiting for clear skies and less moon to test it.
My only concern would be it may not contain anti-reflection coatings and will be left with strange lights appearing but that is just me overthinking.

It seems to work fine for me. Though I will replace it one day, it'll do for a while yet. My plans are for all sorts of filters and wheels, my budget is for an SVBONY right now.

Thanks, it is good to know others have tried it - I haven't used the CLS yet, but the significant difference in price tag made it tempting to at least give it a shot.

I have some good weather coming in tomorrow evening, although there is a full moon, may not be a good test. Hope to place some images to see. May even try with or without filter on the same target.

Hi All,
I managed a test under full moon with eh SVBONY CLS filter and the image is shown in the following thread. - http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1494170
Overall I am happy and can't wait for New moon evening if the weather is clear.
I have a couple of other images to process for last night to do as well.
