I've had a FSQ106 645 reducer for a while now....but finally have obtained the required Taka adapters
(Due Covid stock depletion, one from the USA the other Austria!...no, not Oz...the Laeder Hosen guys...Austria ) to finally get a first light image.

Very happy so far. The grand plan is to marry it up with a QHY600M...due to land in about a week....which means more adapters for the adapters ....anyway
the 645 reducer looks to be the goods...

First light link is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery502.html)

Are you allowing for a tilt adjuster with the QHY600 behind that scope/reducer combo?

I’ve got the camera and CTU, but looking like late October for the adapters from Precise Parts...

Plan A.
Standard QHY OAG/FW/Camera combo.] and hope it's all square. :prey:

Plan B.
SBIG SC3 + FW7 (it would be a shame waste the AstroDons) +QHY
(and hope it will focus and be square on)

Plan C. Some sort of tilt stage (happy to get some pointers here) + Plan B less the SC3 guider.

Yep, I have Precise Parts on the case also with late October delivery

Read a few reports on CN suggesting tilt correction was essentially mandatory for fast f-ratios, so I bit the bullet and worked in a CTU from the outset.

I’ve planned quad compressor - adapter - CTU - adapter - CFW3 - QHY600M.

I’m intending to use a finder guider, but I can squeeze an OAG between the CTU and CFW3 if required, but will need another adapter from precise parts...
