casual observing nights Brisbane area

I have just arrived in Brisbane and am living in the Redlands area.
I am looking for a local group of casual observers for new moon weekend observing. I believe there is a local astronomy club in Redlands.
Any recommendations?

yes there is the Redlands Astronomical Society - I know nothing about them sorry. They have a Facebook page. There is also a Brisbane Amateur Astronomy Enthusiasts Facebook page. They don't have a physical club, but there is often chat about informal catchups. I believe a lot of the "formal" clubs are not currently doing the public viewing nights due to Covid restrictions, so you may need to join the club to get along to their private viewing nights. There are a few other Brisbane based clubs, but the Redlands one is the closest to you by the sounds of things.
