Posts order in a thread

According to FAQ I should be able to change the order of posts in the thread from the oldest to the newest but there is no button/switch/anything to make it happen.
Reading older long threads from new to old makes no sense and the only way to get it ordered on that way is to log-out because as soon as I am logged-in it is ordered from new to old again.
Super annoying, so can somebody help with me with it please?

Click on 'User CP' towards the top left of the forum screen.

Left hand menu items, under 'Settings & Options', select 'Edit Options'.

Scroll down to 'Thread Display Options' & under that heading you will see 'thread display mode'. Use the drop down to select 'Linear - Oldest first'

Oh thanks - I actually seen that one but as it say "Thread display..." and not "Posts display ..." I ignored it. Cheers

Posts are in a thread hence it says thread order but I can see the confusion

yes, but you can order threads too :)
Actually when you are at the thread level there are tools at the bottom allowing you to order them so I expected it on the post level to - it makes even more sense to have such tools in the post as that is where you are most likely to do switching - old to new for the long thread you see for a first time and once you read everything you probably want to switch over to once reading a new posts in that topic.
