Globular Cluster Messier 75 is the most centrally compact GC within the Messier catalog.
I've ended up with a FWHM of 1.6" which I've been pretty happy with. Given how compact it is there isn't a lot of amateur images out there, it's kinda like a forgotten Messier object.

Thanks Mike :)
I get the feeling that this is one of those globulars that isn't worth attempting with less than average seeing. Something like Messier 30 & 55 and NGC 104 don't show poor seeing as much as they're quite open.

Excellent!

Very reminiscent of a small 47 Tucanae with the condensed centre.

Colours seem just right.

Thanks M&T, it does have a very tight core and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect until after I started capturing it. There wasn't a lot of non-professional examples out there. Between Hubble and the Chart-32 team they've set a damned high bar

Nice high-res rendition... and agree with M&T colours look good

Thanks Peter
Sometimes a little difficult to get colour calibration correct with the globulars, the more recent updates of PIs PhotonetricColourCalibration seem to do better.

Thanks Chris, I am enjoying chasing down the globulars. There are so many around the galactic centre and they're pretty easy to shoot when the seeing cooperates.

As you'd understand, when shooting with a Mewlon you may as well go after small things :)
