Hi All

I have been enjoying seeing lots of others on here posting their planet images and passing on info as to their capture and processing routines, all very educational.
Anyway here are some images from last night, this morning. For Jupiter the seeing was 5/6 Pickering but by the time I got to Mars it had deteriorated to 3/4 at best. Still haven't had a good session with Mars yet, very frustrating.
Jupiter shows the Ingress of Europa Transit.

Equipment, 10" f6 newt, EQ6, ZWO290mc, 2.5X Powermate

Jupiter, 2000 of 10,000, Gain 250 @ 7.5 mil sec
Saturn, 2000 of 10,000, Gain 300 @ 12 mil sec

I like your Mars shot. Jupiter was pretty cool last night as well with Europa.

Nice work Jeff, and thanks for posting the camera settings. What sort of frame rates are you getting? I've got the ASI290MM, and Monday night I was playing around with smaller image area and quicker exposure times, seeing what these do to the frame rate. I've started noticing how much higher gain settings introduce noise, and so I'm trying to find a balance between exposure and gain that gives me a higher rate while keeping noise acceptable.

Thanks guys for the feedback. As far as settings go, like you I try to keep the Gain less than 300 to limit noise.
The settings I used were approx.
Jupiter - Capture Size - 448 X 374, Gain - 226, Exp - .011 sec. Frame Rate - 120 p/sec

Saturn - C/S - 400 X 300 , Gain - 311 , Exp - .013 sec. F/R - 90 p/sec approx

Mars - C/S - 40 X 300 , Gain - 254 , Exp - .004 sec. F/R - 200 p/sec approx

The settings I posted in the OP were going from memory but noticed when I checked the camera settings read out that there were slight differences to the Gain Settings and Exposure times. Hope these details are of some help.
Have also noticed that the images are still very yellow looking when posted but are more a more natural blue tint in my photo folders.
Still waiting for a night of 7/10 + seeing before the planets disappear into the sunset later in the year.
