I just got a ASI120MC-S USB3.0. The bayer pattern is GRBG. I capture in SER files with firecapture so there is a bayer pattern in the file. When I open the raw data in AS!3 and select Colour>Force Bayer GRBG I get the proper colour in the preview. As soon as I move the frames slider though the pattern changes and the color is wrong. Not sure what's going on at this stage.

1_ the SER file has a changing bayer pattern over time.
2_ AS!3 doesn't debayer properly.

Anyone using an OSC with firecapture for planetary? What do you shoot to? AVI?

Marc,
I don’t know the answer. I only use mono cameras.
FireCapture is used by many amateurs doing planetary imaging with OSC cameras, I’d be surprised if the Bayer correction changes....
There must be something else??????

Well, I'm not really sure what happened with that particular test video. I was pointing at a white ceiling with the default fisheye lens. I did some color last night and AS!3 works as advertised with debayering. Colors look correct. All good
