Been a while since i've posted anything, slowly getting back into it.
Around 10hrs of data.

Thanks, it was one of the matrix presets in Startools
HST - Synth L + S2HaO3,
SHO - 40SII + 60Ha, 70Ha+30OIII,100OIII

A very beautiful image. Lots of very fine detail, but also vibrant and interesting.

Initial RGB mapping was done in the HST palette - S2HaO3 with the 6:1:3 weighting.
To this, I created a synth lum with weightage based on duration of each filter.
hence - Synth Lum + S2HaO3 ->LRGB
There is an optional "Matrix" modification in startools that provides different blending combinations, one that I chose was
SHO - 40SII + 60Ha, 70Ha+30OIII,100OIII - as R,G,B, because in the compose mode, it processes the three channels in parallel and can blend them in any order and ratio.
I'm no expert, but that's my understanding.

I get it now. There is indeed a palette blending/rotation facility in Startools. Cool. :thumbsup:

Wow, that palette certainly makes the colours jump out and the different areas of the nebula quite distinctive. A feast for the eyes :)
