Here is another one I took of NGC 6727, small changes compared to the last one I took but the basic 90sec subs darks flats and biases are exactly the same.

Changes were, Drift alignment before imaging, small refocus after 10-sec snapshot instead of live view.

My belt mod is definitely an improvement although there seem to be some oscillations after dithering. I believe my old old mount needs a hypertune.

I am though struggling to get consistent processing done with Startools, always changes never able to get the same results 2nd time round.

Anyway, an improvement but during one of my processes, I got an exceptional image that couldn't reproduce.

I have a lot to learn.

Cheers

Check the StarTools.log file for what your steps were and for all settings you made. It even stores the masks in BASE64 format, so you and reconsitute them if needed.

Thanks for that, learning curve, great to know. I have attempted recently a combination of data from the previous attempt and it appears to provide better SNR.

I will look at carefully processing this time to ensure better consistency.
