CaK disk and interesting zone.
The two bright proms, with a single image, surface prom comparison.
Didn't manage a worthwhile image of the filament....
Enjoy!

Enjoy we do! Really like 3&4. I see the shape of a "squid like" prom in 3.

Thanks guys, appreciated.
I was interested in the surface/ prom imaging capabilities.
The ASI 1600 is supposed to be a full 12 bit camera

The full well obviously depends on the gain setting. Mostly I work at unity gain (139). It was interesting to see that both the surface brightness and the faint proms were recorded so well.
Onwards and Upwards.

Another fine set of images Ken, thanks for posting, am lacking some motivation at the moment, waiting for more activity, solar wise.
Capturing the surface detail, spicules etc as well as the proms is what I've been trying to do, successfully or not, with my imaging.
